Hello and welcome! I'm Sophie the one woman show behind Whale and Bloom. As a stay at home mum to three boys I don't get to do much girly stuff! It's all gaming, pokemon and dinosaurs in my house! However now that my children are getting older I finally have the time to pursue my own passions. I have always loved creating and over the years I learned the skills I needed to create beautiful jewellery and I am excited to continue to learn along the way. I love making one off pieces, I love knowing that each piece is truly unique to the person it ends up with. I am very lucky have a lovely garden where I grow and press my own flowers to use in some of my jewellery. I also live near beautiful beaches where I collect sea glass (My boys also love to help). I love to experiment with different mediums but my favourite of all is resin. to be able to encapsulate beautiful flowers forever is a truly wonderful thing.
